Home / About us / Press ReleaseWayne, NJ – August 27, 2012 - Cardinal Components, Inc., a leading manufacturer of programmable oscillators, is introducing five new TCXO’s in its CTQ series. The series includes the CTQC5, CTQS2, CTQS3, CTQS5 and CTQS7.
Designed for the data communications market, Cardinal is targeting the build-out infrastructure for tomorrow’s health-care applications. The five are noteworthy for their dedicated fixed frequency and their ultra low stability. Four of them with clipped sine output. The fifth is CMOS output. The CTQ series is available in supply voltage from 2.8v to 5.0 v, in standard frequency values from 10 to 27 with a stability of 2 ppm and an operating temperature of –30C to 85C. CTQS3 is 3.2 x 2.5, and CTQS7 is in a 5 x 7 package. Phase noise for both at 10 kHz is –130 dBc/Hz units. Their sister, CTQC5, comes in a 5 x 3.2 mm package, also in standard frequencies from 10 to 27, CMOS output.
The temperature-compensated oscillator CTQS2 presents in a mere 2.5 x 2.00 mm package with a sine wave output. Like all Cardinal products, they are RoHS, Reach, and WEEE compliant. Sample quantity pricing is in the $9.00 range, and 10k piece volume pricing is $3.85 each.
